What we collect

We don't collect personal data for using the app itself — your drawings, annotations, and settings stay on your Mac. The only network activity is for processing App Store purchases (see "Third-party services" below).

What we don't do

  • No analytics or telemetry.
  • No account, no sign-up, no login.
  • No tracking of any kind — no advertising IDs, no cookies, no fingerprinting.
  • No screen content is accessed unless you turn on Magnifier; the captured area is used only to render the lens and is not stored or transmitted.

Locally stored data

Your preferences (shortcuts, color palette, toolbar position, whiteboard pages) are stored in macOS UserDefaults on your device only. They never leave your Mac. Deleting the app removes this data.

System permissions

TeacherPalette requires Input Monitoring for global keyboard shortcuts while another app is focused, and Screen Recording only when you turn on Magnifier. Magnifier frames are used only for the on-screen lens; nothing is stored, logged, or transmitted.

Third-party services

TeacherPalette uses RevenueCat and the Apple App Store to process one-time purchases and subscriptions. When you buy or restore a purchase, your device communicates with Apple's and RevenueCat's servers to validate the transaction. No data beyond what's needed for that validation is shared. See our Terms of Service for details on payments.

Children's privacy

TeacherPalette is a presentation tool intended for adult presenters, but is safe for all ages — no data of any kind is collected from anyone.

Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using TeacherPalette ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules. The App is licensed, not sold, to you — we retain all right, title, and interest in and to the App, including all intellectual property rights.

Subscriptions & free trial

TeacherPalette offers auto-renewing subscriptions (Monthly and Annual) in addition to a one-time purchase. If you choose a subscription:

  • New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins automatically.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Monthly plan: $2.99/month. Annual plan: $9.99/year. Actual prices may vary by region and are set by Apple's App Store pricing tiers.
  • Your subscription automatically renews for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price of the plan you selected.
  • Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime after purchase, in your device's Settings → your name → Subscriptions.

One-time purchase

Instead of subscribing, you may unlock lifetime access with a single one-time payment. This unlocks the same features as a paid subscription, does not renew or expire, and requires no further payment.

Payments, billing & refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions. We do not have access to your payment information and cannot process refunds directly. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device.

Cancellation

You may cancel a subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you'll keep access until then, and won't be charged again. There are no cancellation fees.

Acceptable use

  • You will not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except as permitted by applicable law.
  • You will not redistribute, resell, or sublicense the App.
  • You will not use the App for any unlawful purpose or in a way that infringes the rights of others.

Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Apple's role

This agreement is between you and us only, not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support for the App. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) to you; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App (e.g., product liability, legal compliance, or consumer protection claims). Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance, Apple has the right to enforce these Terms against you.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your license to use the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete it at any time.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

  • 신규 구독자에게는 7일 무료 체험이 제공됩니다. 체험 종료 전 취소하지 않으면 구독이 자동으로 시작됩니다.
  • 결제는 구매 확인 시점에 사용자의 Apple ID 계정으로 청구됩니다.
  • 월간 플랜: $2.99/월, 연간 플랜: $9.99/년. 실제 가격은 지역별 App Store 가격 정책에 따라 다를 수 있습니다.
  • 현재 결제 주기 종료 24시간 전까지 자동 갱신을 해제하지 않으면 구독은 동일한 주기로 자동 갱신됩니다.
  • 갱신 요금은 현재 결제 주기 종료 24시간 이내에 선택하신 플랜 가격으로 청구됩니다.
  • 해당하는 경우, 무료 체험 중 구독을 구매하면 남은 체험 기간은 소멸됩니다.

모든 결제는 App Store를 통해 Apple이 처리하며, Apple의 Media Services 이용약관이 적용됩니다. 저희는 사용자의 결제 정보에 접근할 수 없으며 직접 환불을 처리할 수 없습니다. 환불을 요청하시려면 reportaproblem.apple.com을 방문하시거나 기기의 설정 → 본인 이름 → 구독 메뉴를 이용해 주세요.

취소

구독은 언제든지 취소할 수 있습니다. 취소는 현재 결제 주기가 끝나는 시점에 적용되며, 그때까지는 계속 이용하실 수 있고 이후 재청구되지 않습니다. 취소 수수료는 없습니다.

이용 제한

  • 관련 법률이 허용하는 경우를 제외하고, 앱을 리버스 엔지니어링, 디컴파일하거나 소스 코드를 추출하려는 시도를 하지 않습니다.
  • 앱을 재배포, 재판매 또는 재라이선스하지 않습니다.
  • 앱을 불법적인 목적이나 타인의 권리를 침해하는 방식으로 사용하지 않습니다.

보증의 부인

앱은 "있는 그대로" 및 "제공되는 대로" 제공되며, 특정 목적에의 적합성, 비침해성, 중단 없는 운영이나 오류 없는 작동을 포함해 어떠한 명시적·묵시적 보증도 하지 않습니다.

책임의 제한

관련 법률이 허용하는 최대 범위 내에서, 저희는 앱 사용으로 인해 발생하는 간접적·부수적·특수·결과적·징벌적 손해에 대해 책임을 지지 않습니다(그러한 손해의 가능성을 통지받았더라도 동일합니다). 저희의 총 책임 범위는 청구 발생 이전 12개월간 사용자가 앱에 지불한 금액을 초과하지 않습니다.

Apple의 역할

본 계약은 사용자와 저희 사이의 계약이며 Apple과는 무관합니다. Apple은 앱이나 그 콘텐츠에 대해 책임을 지지 않으며, 앱에 대한 유지보수나 지원 의무도 없습니다. 앱이 적용 가능한 보증을 충족하지 못하는 경우 사용자는 Apple에 알릴 수 있으며, Apple은 결제 금액(있는 경우)을 환불해 드립니다. 그 외 앱에 대한 어떠한 보증 의무도 관련 법률이 허용하는 최대 범위 내에서 Apple에게 없습니다. 앱과 관련된 모든 청구(제조물 책임, 법규 준수, 소비자 보호 관련 청구 등)에 대한 책임은 Apple이 아닌 저희에게 있습니다. Apple 및 그 자회사는 본 약관의 제3자 수익자이며, 사용자가 본 약관에 동의함에 따라 Apple은 사용자를 상대로 본 약관을 직접 집행할 권리를 갖습니다.

계약 종료

사용자가 본 약관을 위반할 경우 저희는 앱 이용 라이선스를 정지하거나 종료할 수 있습니다. 사용자는 언제든지 앱 사용을 중단하고 삭제할 수 있습니다.

약관 변경

본 약관은 수시로 변경될 수 있습니다. 변경 사항 적용 이후에도 앱을 계속 사용하시면 새로운 약관에 동의하는 것으로 간주됩니다.

規約への同意

TeacherPalette(以下「本アプリ」)をダウンロード、インストール、または使用することにより、お客様は本利用規約(以下「本規約」)に同意したものとみなされます。同意されない場合は、本アプリの使用をお控えください。

ライセンス

本規約を遵守することを条件として、当社はお客様がご所有または管理する Apple 製デバイス上で、App Store 使用規則が許容する範囲内で本アプリをダウンロードし使用するための、限定的・非独占的・譲渡不可・取消可能なライセンスを許諾します。本アプリはお客様に販売されるものではなくライセンスされるものであり、本アプリに関する知的財産権を含むすべての権利・権原は当社に帰属します。

サブスクリプションと無料トライアル

TeacherPalette は買い切り購入に加え、自動更新のサブスクリプション(月額・年額)を提供しています。サブスクリプションを選択する場合:

  • 新規登録者には7日間の無料トライアルが提供されます。トライアル終了前に解約しない場合、サブスクリプションが自動的に開始されます。
  • 購入確定時に Apple ID アカウントに料金が請求されます。
  • 月額プラン: $2.99/月、年額プラン: $9.99/年。実際の価格は地域の App Store 価格設定により異なる場合があります。
  • 現在の期間終了の24時間前までに自動更新をオフにしない限り、サブスクリプションは同じ期間で自動的に更新されます。
  • 更新料金は現在の期間終了の24時間以内に、選択したプランの価格で請求されます。
  • 該当する場合、無料トライアル中にサブスクリプションを購入すると、残りのトライアル期間は失効します。
  • 購入後、デバイスの設定 →ご自身の名前→ サブスクリプションから、いつでも管理・解約が可能です。

買い切り購入

サブスクリプションの代わりに、一度のお支払いで永久利用権を購入することもできます。有料サブスクリプションと同じ機能が利用可能で、更新や期限切れはなく、追加の支払いも不要です。

お支払い、請求、返金

すべての購入は App Store を通じて Apple が処理し、Apple の Media Services 利用規約が適用されます。当社はお客様の決済情報にアクセスできず、直接返金を処理することはできません。返金をご希望の場合は reportaproblem.apple.com にアクセスするか、デバイスの設定 →ご自身の名前→ サブスクリプションをご利用ください。

解約

サブスクリプションはいつでも解約できます。解約は現在の請求期間の終了時に適用され、それまでは引き続きご利用いただけますが、以後の請求は発生しません。解約手数料はかかりません。

利用制限

  • 適用法令で許容される場合を除き、本アプリのリバースエンジニアリング、逆コンパイル、またはソースコードの抽出を試みないこと。
  • 本アプリを再配布、再販、再ライセンスしないこと。
  • 本アプリを違法な目的で、または第三者の権利を侵害する方法で使用しないこと。

保証の否認

本アプリは「現状有姿」および「提供可能な状態」で提供され、特定目的への適合性、権利非侵害性、中断のない稼働や無エラーの動作を含め、明示・暗示を問わずいかなる保証も行いません。

責任の制限

適用法令が許容する最大限の範囲において、当社は本アプリの利用から生じる間接的、付随的、特別、結果的、または懲罰的損害について責任を負いません(そのような損害の可能性を通知されていた場合であっても同様です)。当社の責任総額は、請求発生前12か月間にお客様が本アプリに支払った金額を超えないものとします。

Appleの役割

本契約はお客様と当社との間の契約であり、Apple は関与しません。Apple は本アプリまたはそのコンテンツについて責任を負わず、本アプリの保守やサポートを提供する義務もありません。本アプリが適用可能な保証に適合しない場合、お客様は Apple に通知することができ、Apple はお客様に購入代金(ある場合)を返金します。それ以外の本アプリに関する保証義務は、適用法令が許容する最大限の範囲において Apple にはありません。本アプリに関連するあらゆる請求(製造物責任、法令遵守、消費者保護に関する請求など)への対応は、Apple ではなく当社の責任です。Apple およびその子会社は本規約の第三者受益者であり、お客様が本規約に同意することにより、Apple はお客様に対して本規約を直接執行する権利を有します。

契約の終了

お客様が本規約に違反した場合、当社は本アプリの利用ライセンスを停止または終了することがあります。お客様はいつでも本アプリの使用を停止し、削除することができます。

規約の変更

本規約は随時変更される場合があります。変更の適用後も本アプリの使用を継続された場合、新しい規約に同意したものとみなされます。
